Seán qualified as a Civil Engineer from UCC in 1979. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of Engineers Ireland and past Chairman of the Cork Branch of the Construction Industry Federation.
Upon graduating he joined PJ Hegarty as a Site Engineer and has worked with the Company for the last 43 years. He was appointed a Regional Director in 1996, Main Board Director in 2005 and Operations Director for the Southern Region and UK in 2017. He has extensive experience in large complex Civil Engineering and Building Projects of all types and has being involved in some major joint ventures with international companies.
