The project involved extensive external work, including the refurbishment of the 60m high sandstone tower and spire — one of the north inner city’s most prominent landmarks. The inside of the building was also converted into a state-of-the-art office facility with high-spec features, which serves clerical staff from the nearby Temple Street Hospital. The project is a shining example of how a historic building can gain a new life and purpose through innovation.
