Indaver Rivenhall

Indaver Rivenhall involved enabling works and a full site infrastructure package for the Facility, which supports the development of a 595,000-tonne waste-to-energy plant. The scope of the project included extensive earthworks required, including the construction of reinforced embankments and retaining walls to ensure the stability of the site, the construction of a 35,000m³ lagoon and the installation of a comprehensive underground drainage and services network

Client : Indaver
Location : Rivenhall, UK
Cost : £40+ Million

A significant achievement was the delivery of one of the UK’s largest soil nail installations, reinforcing over 9,000m of embankment with 67,000 linear metres of soil nails. This required meticulous planning and execution to meet the project’s strict engineering requirements.

In addition to the enabling works, we were awarded the design and construction of a new access bridge, ensuring seamless connectivity to the facility while prioritising the integrity of the surrounding environment. This £40+ million project demonstrates our capability in managing large-scale infrastructure works in complex environments.
