Haulbowline Project Milestone

Recently there was a significant milestone on the Haulbowline Island East Tip Remediation project as the last section of liner material was laid, capping the island off and making it safe.

The project is the design & build of the remediation & capping of the former Haulbowline East Tip site including metal recovery, perimeter engineered structure, slag processing, site re-profiling, capping and landscaping. The new public green space will include playing pitches, walking/jogging circuit, picnic areas, viewing points and a car park.

Please see above a photograph of the site team at Haulbowline just prior to the event. We would like to congratulate them on reaching this significant milestone on the project.
